About Me

Hello! I currently teach 4th grade reading and social studies in Central Florida. I have been blessed with the opportunity to have a 1:1 iPad classroom this year. I started this last year towards the very end of the school year but now have a new group of students for this current year.  I am a firm believer in a strong sense of responsibility at a young age will help prepare students for the future. I also feel that creativity in school is a vital part. The students of today will be the global citizens of tomorrow. With the right tools and knowledge these students can be successful in many ways. I run my classroom in a very organized way and I believe that is one reason why I enjoy teaching with technology.

I can go a bit crazy with a label maker and color coding my directions for students! I think its one thing that makes me very unique!

 As I use this blog, my main focus is to gather more information to use in my iPad classroom. Whether it is apps to use, tips for students, or basic knowledge about the features of an iPad I want to cover it all. I know that our education system is moving towards this and I want to make sure I have the best for my students. Currently my blog will be focused on my masters degree courses but will also emphasize technology in the classroom as much as possible.
